This policy describes the current pre-release game, including external TestFlight build 40. A permission-aware update is being prepared. The section about that forthcoming update describes intended changes, not protections already available in build 40.
Progress and private iCloud recovery
Progress, settings and recent run results are saved on your device. When iCloud is available, the current game also backs up this data to your private iCloud storage for recovery using the same iCloud account. The game does not require a separate game account. Progress backups do not contain purchase receipts or verified paid entitlements; purchased access is restored separately through Apple's purchase services and, in the normal purchase-service path, RevenueCat.
Private iCloud recovery can retain current and earlier recovery records. Starting fresh in the game is not a request to erase those records. Local recovery copies and device or operating-system backups may also contain app data. Removing the app should not be assumed to delete separate iCloud, device or purchase-service records. We cannot remotely access or erase your local save. Contact support for help identifying the relevant storage and available controls; manage Apple-controlled backups through Apple's supported settings and processes.
Check the last successful iCloud backup before deleting the app or replacing your device. Progress that has not backed up can be lost. Recovery is not guaranteed. Build 40 removed the player-facing file export/import controls; if an older exported file is your only backup, keep it and contact support before deleting an installation.
Purchases, identifiers and service reporting
Zed Dash offers optional one-time purchases for permanent access to specified weapons or arsenal packs. Apple processes payments; the game does not receive payment-card details. RevenueCat helps validate purchases, prevent purchase fraud, provide and restore paid access, and provide purchase-related reporting and analytics.
When the purchase service initializes or refreshes, the SDK may connect to RevenueCat even if you have not bought anything. It uses an app-specific customer identifier and purchase/entitlement information. Requests also include Apple's identifier for vendor (IDFV), when available, device/app/operating-system information, language or locale, App Store country and connection information such as IP address. IDFV is distinct from Apple's advertising identifier, IDFA.
RevenueCat's documented customer records include first/last-seen timestamps, app/platform information and country derived from the connection's IP address or a purchase. RevenueCat states that it drops the IP address after determining country; this is not a promise that every request field or every provider log is immediately erased. Its customer and reporting tools can associate these records with an app-specific customer identifier. An identifier described as anonymous does not mean that records cannot be associated with an installation, device or support request.
The SDK also reports the device's App Tracking Transparency authorization status without asking for tracking permission. The game does not send custom name/email attributes to RevenueCat or invoke its optional advertising-identifier collection feature. It includes no advertising SDK or separate gameplay analytics SDK. Purchase-related reporting remains part of the RevenueCat service. We do not use app data for cross-company targeted advertising or sell it to data brokers.
Restore Purchases restores eligible paid access. It does not restore earned progress, currency, upgrades, records or an unfinished run. Refund and revocation information may require a later connection; offline access is not a promise of immediate refund-status updates.
See Apple's privacy policy and RevenueCat's privacy policy. Those policies describe provider practices and do not replace this policy.
Support and privacy requests
Contacting support opens your email app; you decide whether to send. The studio receives your sender address, message and chosen attachments through Gmail. Include the game/app version, device and OS version, and a short description of the issue. Do not send passwords, authentication codes, payment-card details or unnecessary sensitive information. Google's privacy policy applies to its handling of Gmail data.
Copy app details copies version and platform information to your clipboard; it does not automatically send a message, save file or purchase receipt. The forthcoming update adds a separate optional purchase support reference where purchase services are available. You choose whether to show, copy or send it. A reference helps locate service records; it does not prove identity or authorize access or deletion.
Email freymarstudios@gmail.com to request access, correction or deletion, or to raise a concern about consent or a child's information. We ask only for information reasonably needed to locate the records and verify that you may act for the person concerned. We do not treat a support reference alone as authentication. Please do not send a child's identity documents or unnecessary sensitive information.
After verification, we address studio-held information and use RevenueCat's supported processes for relevant customer records. We explain any limits, justified retention and available next steps. A deletion request does not automatically refund a purchase or erase Apple-controlled records, local saves or separate backups. Continued use of purchase services or a later restore can create service records again. If a request includes preventing further processing, we address that separately from deletion and explain any feature consequences. We do not promise that uninstalling the app or a parental platform restriction automatically deletes server records.
Retention
We retain studio-held support and request records for as long as needed to resolve the request and necessary follow-up, provide or restore purchases, handle disputes, or meet applicable legal obligations. At case closure and retention review, we remove unnecessary diagnostic attachments and other information no longer needed. Where retention is justified, we limit it to the relevant information and purpose.
RevenueCat retains information for its purchase services and reporting under its applicable processing terms. Its published terms address return/deletion and backup/archive practices; they do not provide a separate automatic deletion period for every technical field. We use supported access/deletion procedures and explain known limitations rather than promise an unverified purge date. Apple and Google separately control information they hold under their own processes.
Age and the forthcoming permission-aware update
Zed Dash contains mature zombie-combat content and is not directed to children under 13. App Store ratings and parental controls apply. Minors may use the game where permitted with required permissions; a rating or permission to download is not a blanket consent to every use of personal information. The current build does not request a birth date or identity document.
The forthcoming update is designed to use Apple's regional age/permission features where applicable. Age ranges are handled temporarily on the device; the app does not send those ranges to RevenueCat, progress saves or iCloud backups. In its restricted-service path, local play remains available unless a required access check blocks it. New purchases, purchase support references and app-initiated iCloud backup are paused. Existing paid access can be checked through Apple; an explicit recovery action may ask you to sign in to Apple and does not buy anything. Local progress remains on the device and can be lost if the app/device is lost.
These controls are not yet available in build 40. They are not a zero-network guarantee or a promise to recall an already-issued backup or erase earlier service records. Apple authentication is not parental privacy consent given to the studio. Contact us about child/parent requests or previously collected information using the process above.
Sharing, ratings and TestFlight
Sharing a run creates a card with run statistics and weapon/relic information and opens the system share sheet. You choose the destination and complete the action there; that destination handles its copy. Ratings or reviews submitted through Apple's system prompt are handled by Apple.
For TestFlight testing, Apple collects beta usage/crash information and shares beta information with the app provider. Feedback may include comments, screenshots and, depending on invitation/feedback context, names or email addresses. See TestFlight & Privacy. This beta-specific processing is separate from every App Store installation. Studio-held beta information follows the retention/request process above.
